LOLOBUY SHIPPING CALCULATOR

Estimate Actual vs Volumetric Parcel Weight

Use packed measurements to compare actual and dimensional weight. This calculator deliberately stops before price: the current LoloBuy route quote, restrictions and billing rules control the real shipment.

PLANNING TOOL

Estimate chargeable weight

Enter packed measurements and the divisor shown by the route you are comparing. This tool does not calculate a LoloBuy price or confirm route eligibility.

Volumetric estimate1.50 kg
Planning weight1.50 kg

Formula: length × width × height ÷ divisor. The planning weight is the greater of actual and volumetric weight. The live route quote controls billing.

01

Use packed dimensions, not product dimensions

A seller's product measurements do not describe the final parcel. Boxes, protective material and consolidation change the length, width and height used for dimensional weight. Enter a realistic packed estimate for early planning, then replace it with warehouse or parcel measurements when they become available.

02

Take the divisor from the route

Dimensional-weight formulas vary by carrier and service. The default 6000 value is a common planning example, not a promise for every LoloBuy line. If the current route displays another divisor or billing method, enter that value and follow the live terms.

03

The greater weight is still not a quote

The calculator reports the greater of actual and volumetric weight because that is a useful comparison. A carrier can apply billing increments, minimum charges, size limits, category restrictions or route-specific adjustments. Use the result to compare parcel shapes, then obtain the current price in the live account.

04

Compare sensible parcel groups

Run the numbers for one consolidated parcel and for practical smaller groups. A large carton can create more volumetric weight, while several parcels can repeat base charges. Keep batteries, liquids, fragile goods and oversized items separate when their route eligibility differs.

05

Complete QC before changing packaging

Removing a shoe box or other retail packaging can reduce volume, but it may affect protection, labels or return eligibility. Finish the inspection and keep-or-return decision before requesting an irreversible service. Recalculate only after the packaging choice is reflected in the parcel record.
