Start with the order stage, not the complaint

A LoloBuy refund is not one universal action. The useful question is where the goods are now. LoloBuy's current help pages separate orders being verified, orders still being processed, purchases awaiting seller dispatch, domestic shipments, warehouse items and parcels already sent internationally. Each stage has different evidence, costs and people involved. Before clicking anything, save the LoloBuy order or parcel number, current status, seller listing, selected variation, payment record and latest tracking event. Then write the outcome you actually need: cancel before purchase, return an unwanted warehouse item, exchange a wrong variation, recover a seller refund, or report a damaged or incomplete international parcel. This prevents a common delay—asking for a refund when the operational task is really a cancellation, seller return or carrier claim. LoloBuy is acting between the shopper and a third-party seller during the purchase stage, so a request may depend on whether the seller has shipped, will accept a return and has refunded LoloBuy. After international dispatch, seller-return rules no longer describe the whole problem; parcel evidence and route terms become central.

02

Cancel early when the goods have not moved

LoloBuy's official cancellation page says a user can cancel an order in the account while its status is Verifying, with the payment returned to the LoloBuy balance. When an order is Processing, cancellation is still requested in the shopping-agent orders area, but the agent must confirm that the item has not already been purchased. The same page says that if it has not been purchased, the cancellation and balance refund are handled within one working day. Treat that as the platform's stated processing target, not a guarantee for every case. Once the status is Purchased, the workflow changes: use Return/Refund on the corresponding order so the agent can request a refund from the seller. If the seller has not dispatched, LoloBuy says the money returns to the account balance after seller confirmation and notes that this normally takes three days. The practical lesson is to act as soon as the selected size, colour, quantity or address error is discovered. Capture the status before submitting the request, state the precise change and do not place a replacement order until you know whether the first purchase can still be stopped.

03

Use warehouse receipt as the main return decision point

When the seller has already dispatched within China, LoloBuy says it cannot negotiate an order modification at that stage. Its guidance directs users who still need a different option to wait for warehouse arrival, request a return and then place a new order for the correct variation; the customer covers the return delivery caused by that change. Warehouse receipt is therefore the best controlled checkpoint. Open every QC image at full size and compare the item with the saved listing: model, colour, marked size, quantity, included pieces and visible damage. If a standard image cannot show the disputed detail, request a targeted photo while a seller return may still be available. Describe facts rather than impressions—“the label shows EU 42; the order records EU 43” is actionable, while “looks wrong” is not. Keep the warehouse item ID beside the order number so support can connect the physical item to the transaction. Do not submit an unresolved item for international shipping merely to keep the parcel moving. The cost and difficulty of correcting a mismatch rise sharply once the item leaves China.

04

Read the five-day rule narrowly

LoloBuy's current help article describes a seller-backed 5-Day Return/Exchange Guarantee for eligible products. The platform explains that the wider third-party rule runs within seven days after the seller's delivery is signed, which LoloBuy operationalises as five days after warehouse stock-in. Its account timer starts at the next hour after the status changes to Stocked in, and five days equals 120 hours. A request submitted after that period might not be accepted. This is not a blanket promise for every product: the item must be marked eligible, meet the seller or marketplace rules and remain in a condition suitable for resale. LoloBuy also states that it can return or exchange only when the seller agrees. For an unconditional change of mind, its fee description can include shipping to the seller, the seller's original shipping and a return/exchange service fee; the live request screen and account balance show what applies to the actual order. For a verified quality issue, the official FAQ says the seller is responsible for shipping after the request is submitted, while a no-fault return is paid by the user. Select the truthful reason, because responsibility and evidence depend on it.

05

Protect packaging until the return is settled

Return eligibility is partly a condition-of-goods question. LoloBuy says a product must be new and meet the seller's resale requirement, and its policy lists special packaging standards for some categories. Its separate post-delivery guidance says it may reject a return when the item has been altered, parts are missing, certain sealed goods have been opened or the original proof of purchase is unavailable. That makes the order of operations important. First complete QC, measurements and any seller discussion. Next decide whether to keep, return or exchange. Only then request packaging removal, shoe-box removal or other irreversible warehouse services. Retail packaging may add volume, but removing it can destroy labels, seals, accessories or proof needed for a return. Keep screenshots of the warehouse record and any seller conditions shown in the live account. If an item is eligible only while unopened, do not ask for an inspection that breaks the seal unless the benefit clearly outweighs the return risk. For a product chosen from the FindSpreadsheet database, the directory link is only a research lead; the current seller listing, the received warehouse item and the live return screen control the actual decision.

06

Track the return and refund as separate events

A seller return has several checkpoints: request submitted, seller approval, domestic return dispatched, seller receipt, seller refund and LoloBuy balance credit. Do not treat a return tracking number as proof that the refund is complete. LoloBuy says the returned parcel number appears in the corresponding order after an approved warehouse return. Its cancellation and refund page says money is automatically returned to the LoloBuy account balance after the seller receives the item and refunds the platform. For a warehouse-stocked return, the page gives a general range of 7–15 days and explicitly says the result depends on how long the seller takes to confirm the refund. Exchanges can take longer because they involve two domestic shipments and seller handling. Those are published indications, not deadlines to promise in a budget or delivery plan. Save every status change and date. If nothing moves, ask support which checkpoint is pending rather than sending a general “where is my refund?” message. Also distinguish account balance from the original card, bank or wallet used to fund the order: the official pages reviewed here substantiate a return to the LoloBuy balance, not an automatic reversal to every original payment method.

07

Build a parcel claim around evidence

After international dispatch, use the parcel after-sales route rather than the seller-return button. LoloBuy directs users to My LoloBuy, Parcels and Apply After-sales for the relevant parcel. The platform asks for a detailed description and, for a wrong or damaged product, photos of both the parcel and the item. Its current page says customer service will reply within 24 hours of receiving the application and instructs users to apply within seven days after signing for the parcel or within 45 days after shipment; the same page also warns that applications may not be accepted when a delivered parcel has been signed for more than three days. Because those statements overlap, do not wait for the longest period—record the delivery and report the issue immediately. For visible parcel damage, inspect it in front of the delivery worker when possible and record a remark or reject delivery if appropriate. Otherwise keep the original outer packaging and seals. LoloBuy's evidence guidance asks for invoice and photos for damage, the size label for a wrong size, an overall photo for a wrong style, and the item list, packaging, contents and weight evidence for missing goods. If parcel weight is disputed, photograph it on a scale before opening.

08

Run a final after-sales decision

Use this gate before closing a LoloBuy return or refund case. First, identify the exact order stage and save its status. Second, state one requested outcome and connect it to the correct order, warehouse item or parcel ID. Third, submit early: cancel before purchase when possible, inspect immediately at stock-in and never wait for the outer limit after delivery. Fourth, match evidence to the issue—variation record and label for a wrong size, full-item view for a wrong style, detailed damage images, or sealed parcel and weight records for missing contents. Fifth, leave the product and its packaging in returnable condition until seller approval and all required evidence are secure. Sixth, read the live eligibility, fee and balance information instead of assuming that a no-reason return is free. Seventh, track seller approval, domestic return, seller receipt, seller refund and balance credit as separate steps. Finally, keep the unresolved item out of parcel consolidation. Use the QC guide to inspect what arrived, the shipping-cost guide after the keep-or-return decision and the tracking guide once an accepted parcel leaves the warehouse. A strong after-sales request is not long; it is early, specific, documented and addressed to the party that controls the current stage.
